Schools
Is anyone else looking at schools at the moment. I'm finding it so hard to decide which order to put them in. What do you consider when looking at schools? Do you contact the school to look round? How seriously do you take instead reports? Seems like so little information for such an important decision.

Forgot to say the one closest to us is doing an open day. I rang them to ask if they were but they hadn't had the dates so will be ringing me back. Its not until October she said.
Hope you get your first choice. I read they like you to put a reason for your choices so hopefully they'll see that and prioritise you. Thanks for the information.

I've got to look for primarys in Wigston. I was considering the one at the nursery but it's half hour walk away. At the moment it's OK cos the hours work around when I get the car but school hours won't. So I'm putting the closest one as first choice and luckily it's a good school. It's not in our catchment tho. The catchment ones are all half hour walk away. Thinking it's a long walk for my little one especially after a full day at school. So I'm going with closest first, then the nursery one and then one of the catchment ones. If we don't get our first choice then they'll all be half hour walk away. He doesn't do prams, hasn't for about a year, always on his bike if its a far walk. Cud take his bike but means I'll be then carrying it the other journey☹️
