Potty training

Hey so my LB is 17 months and I’m planning on starting potty training this month, I’m going to buy the seat that goes directly on the toilet but I’m overwhelmed and don’t really know how to start. I’ve asked family for advice but they said I should know when he needs the toilet and put him on the potty when it’s t...

When potty training, what kind of "treats" did you give your child to reward/encourage them?

For some reason the only sweet treat I can come up with is the dum dum suckers, a pocket of fruit snacks, or like a mini kit Kat bar. But I'd love to know what else you all have given!

Potty training

We decided to give potty training a go last Friday. First 3 days we did at home with nothing on her bottom half and she absolutely nailed it. Day 4 onwards we have been putting knickers on and trousers on top of that when at nursery and it's like she cannot grasp the concept anymore. I wonder if she feels like she's...

Fast forward to now and for the past month she's been having more and more accidents, she will poo and wee in her pants at home and in nursery (she doesn't do it when she's ...

Wheres all the Teething Powder gone??

Recently I've not been able to find Ashton and Parson's Teething powder in boots, savers, asda etc, so I started buying the same brand Teething gel. However last week I went to boots to get some more Teething gel and it wasn't there either! Has anyone else found the same or is it just my luck? I haven't heard of any...

Potty training advice

So we tried to potty train in May but called it quits after 3 days. Hear me out.. she was so visibly upset, being actively violent towards her little brother (which isn't like her at all), she was having accidents every 15 minutes and couldn't tell me when she needed a wee/poo and couldn't even confirm when she'd do...

After how many days of NO SUCCESS of using the potty would you give up on potty training for a while?

We're on day 3. He will sit on his little potty, but won't pee. No matter how long I have him sit there, he will pee on the floor, couch, his bed, etc within 5 minutes of getting off the potty. I'm so tired of cleaning up pee...

Not finishing bottles

Hi, my baby is getting ready to turn 10 months old and recently she’s not finishing any of her bottles. I cut her down to 4oz instead of 6 and she won’t even finish that. She’s starting to eat less solids. I’m a little worried. We have a 2nd tooth coming in but she still had an appetite with the first tooth experien...

Potty training

Just wanted to share the amazing results we’ve had potty training our 5 month old girl! I went down a rabbit hole researching potty training and why is has slowly been introduced later and later with babies due to the profits that diaper companies make/marketing turning into societal norms etc. My husband thought ...

Brushing teeth

Anyone else dread tooth brush time? My little one screams bloody murder everytime and I always end up with blood on the brush...not sure if I'm doing it too hard? I brush them twice a day so I don't think it would be gum disease even if its always a struggle 😭

Potty training troubles

I didn’t start potty training my son until he turned 3 (feb 2024) and he did excellent. We went straight to underwear and had very few accidents. Sometime in August 2024 he hit a regression where he stopped telling us he had to pee and would just hold it until he went on himself. I’ve been told it’s just a phase but...
