Burping/winding

Any other first time mums scared to burp/wind their newborns? I’m terrified of everything and I know everyone says it comes naturally and midwives will show you what to do in hospital but they’re so delicate and I’m so terrified 😭

4th trimester what to expect

Hey lovely ladies I wanted to set my expectations for the period after when the baby is born. Part of me thinks it’s going to be a lot easier to move due to not having a baby living in my belly, and regaining my usual energy levels pretty swiftly. Is this actually what happens?

How long to hear back after GTT?

I had my GTT on Tuesday, did my own blood sugar first thing that morning and it was 5.8, which I know is high enough for diagnosis, then post-GTT sugar was 7.8, which is the diagnostic cut-off. They said I’d hear within a couple of days but still haven’t heard anything! Have been doing my own random blood sugars a...

Eating extremely clean (90% Whole Foods/ everything organic and pasture raised/ the onl...

I’m 39 weeks tomorrow and my blood pressure is slightly higher than usual ( up to 130/90). I heard that it’s common for blood pressure to go up in the end of the pregnancy , but what would be consid...

Right mumas, tips please.

I am 1 week postpartum with my gorgeous newborn. I have a 18 month old. Currently husband is off work so it’s manageable, however he goes back week after next. Feeling a bit nervous about having to care for both of them on my own. Please give me your best tips on surviving!

Am I ready (first time mum) 🙃

As a first-time mom, I’m 37 weeks pregnant, and it’s finally getting close. I can’t believe I’m only three weeks away; it still doesn’t feel real. I’m experiencing aches and ligament pain, but it all feels like a dream. I know I might sound selfish, but I’ve always focused on myself—just me and my partner. At 27, I ...

More bleeding and a longer hospital stay

I shared a post a week ago about how I was admitted into hospital for heavy bleeding with a potential low lying placenta and got some positive feesback :) Turns out it's potentially placenta previa because while it cleared up - it returned 4 days later and again 2 days ago coupled with contractions. It was scary but...

Flying at 26 weeks

Has anyone traveled while pregnant? My father in laws health is declining and they’re expecting him not to make it 😔 My husband left today and most likely I’ll be leaving if I get the call. Of course I’ll speak with my OB, but has anyone flown?
