Blood pressure at the end of the pregnancy

Hi ladies, could anyone advise me what would be considered as an increased blood pressure at the end of the pregnancy? I’m 39 weeks tomorrow and my blood pressure is slightly higher than usual ( up to 130/90). I heard that it’s common for blood pressure to go up in the end of the pregnancy , but what would be considered as high and dangerous?

Generally 140/90 is considered high so it’s definitely elevated and 90 is high. If it’s higher than your general blood pressure (check your notes and see what it’s been at your midwife appointments) then give triage a call

I would give a call to the triage. Aldo ask them to check protein on your urine

I’m 39 weeks today with high/raised blood pressure since 36 weeks. Sits around 140/90. Been given a monitor to check it every day at home. Got weekly appointments to the Day Assessment Unit at our hospital xxx

Thanks for responses ladies. I called triage and they asked me to come in to measure my bp with a proper bp monitor because home kits might give inaccurate readings. Went in and bp was fine,120/80 :) and glad we did otherwise I would have been worrying all night
