Baby carriers

Wow!! What a minefield! Has anyone got advice on baby carriers. We tried the wrap type when baby was a little smaller and he absolutely hated it. I want to buy one which faces outwards as he is nosy and I think this would go down well... but he is also probably close to 15lbs now.. (5 months) so would need one ...

Thoughts on toddler reins?

My husband is dead against them, but I really want to get some for my LB. He's a runner and I'm slow and pregnant, so for me it would be a win win. Without any reins I'm hesistant to get LB out of his pushchair as he will just run away from me. Thoughts on reins?

Carry Cot Car Seats

Does anyone know about about carry for car seats? Are they safe? Iā€™ve never heard of them before until this morning. My grandad is 91 years old and can no longer drive so we will need to travel to him for him to meet the baby (which is about a 3.5hr drive away) when he is here but Iā€™ve read that babies canā€™t be in c...

Baby bath products

My little one seems to be reacting to Johnsonā€™s, Iā€™m just wondering what bath products weā€™re all using? Iā€™m planning to head to Boots and pick up new bath products for little one and donā€™t know which ones are particularly good for sensitive skin.

Calpol vapour plug in

Can the Calpol vapour plug in be used for babies aged 8 weeks? My little one is really congested and got a cold. We have tried the saline drops, taking her in the bathroom with steam but nothing seems to be easing it. On the packaging it says to use from 3 months. Do you think this will be ok?

Pyjamas vs clothes

My MIL and SIL are quite judgmental. Especially over parenting and the way I choose to parent my children. if we have no plans and arenā€™t expecting any guests, honestly I donā€™t rush to dress my kids (2 and 1). I allow them to stay in their jammies until we need to go out, or until someoneā€™s is coming over. In my opi...

Donations

My baby is now 11 weeks old. I have size 1 nappies that sheā€™s grown out of and a couple of MAM bottles that havenā€™t been used (my baby is exclusively breastfed) but I hate the thought of throwing them away, knowing someone might need them. Do you know where I can donate these or if anyone wants them? I can post

Car seat and jackets

Has anyone seen or used these car seat jackets? It opens in the middle by a zipper like a jacket so that they can be buckled but still have that jacket on. I hope that made sense. But does anyone use one? My mother in law tried to by my son something like that but I said nope.

Need some advice

My son is 3 and still hates having his hair washed and brushed. Iā€™ve tried having him help, washing it with a cup, washing it with the shower hose, using a kids pitcher and using those hat things the make it where their face doesnā€™t get soaked. Iā€™ve tried different soaps to see if what I was using was hurting his ey...

Car seat

My boy has now outgrown his car seat and we are looking for recommendations about a new car seat which will last as long as possible. He is 91st centile in height and weight so I don't want to be in the position where I need to buy another one too soon! Would anyone recommend theirs?
