Most baby carriers allow for babies to face outwards, but they can only face outward after a certain age because of spinal, mental and cognitive development. There's one on Amazon for around ÂŁ30 which is suitable now and up. But remember once baby takes those first steps they aren't going to want to be in a carrier they'll want to walk
We've got the Carifit - it is expensive but check on Vinted as most on there are half the price of buying new
Try your local sling library and see what works for you. I have a Tula explore which I find really comfy and you can outward face. Just be aware that they don’t recommend outward facing for more than 20 minutes at a time as it can be overstimulating for babies, also they can’t sleep in that position. It also puts more stress on your body. You can try hip carries, back carries after 6 months and also arms out of the carrier, all of which would be more comfortable for you. Also, my experience is completely different to Fatima as my nearly 3 year old still loves being in a carrier! She gets tired quickly on long walks, so toddler carriers are a thing!
Thank you all! Some great advice. We have a few small Halloween/ Christmas events coming up and I'm dreading taking the pram.. I just hope he likes it 🤦‍♀️
@Incognito some do hate it, but I think the more cushiony it is the better. I have the baby bjorn one and amazon, the amazon on has more cushion

I’ve got (and like), the Ergobaby Omni, feels soft but robust and it’s easy to put on and off. You can usually get them 2nd hand on Vinted or FB Marketplace x
