Hey guys, I’ve just stopped work getting ready for bubba number 2 to arrive soon, and my 15month old is currently still in daycare, and just wanted some advice whether you kept your first borns in daycare or kept them home with your newborn. I’m very fortunate to have plenty of support if I need a break if I pulle...
What are the benefits of term life insurance? Thinking about getting one for me and my children. If so, do the kids need their own separately? How does it work?
What would you say is an appropriate rate per hour (or per day, not sure how this works) to pay a babysitter? I'm in the process of trying to find someone for my 2.5 yo twins on an "as needed" basis when I have appointments or want to run errands by myself. I'm trying to see if they're willing to come to my house, i...
My baby is currently 2 months and will be 3 months old on November 3rd. I was wondering if anyone possibly had a schedule they are using, that works for them that they could share with me. Thanks in advance😊
I’m just looking to see what people are doing these days. My background is in banking (compliance- regulatory and policy/procedure with a big dose of mortgage background)
Anyone have success starting a daily quiet time routine with their 4+ year olds? She is far past the nap stage but I never set a regular quiet time in the afternoon routine and I’m thinking it might be a good idea- we’ve been having some regulation issues and also I’m having my second in about two months. Any tips o...

Does anyone know how the government funded hours work? For example baby will turn 9 months on the 26th, and going to nursery beginning of December. So if I apply for the hours on on the 26th, when will the hours be granted? Would it be one time for when she goes to nursery or is there quite a wait? xx
Is anyone else really worried that there child won’t be ready for school next year?? I can’t be alone 😞
Does it matter that my LO will be going on non consecutive days? We booked Tuesdays and Thursdays not knowing what we’d need, but now it’s getting closer, I’m worried we’ve done the wrong thing. I’ve contacted the nursery but there’s no option of changing the days now. Just looking for reassurance that this will be ...
We haven't done preschool and not planning on doing TK. We don't get the rush to put babies in school. They are learning all the essentials at home and get plenty of socializing.
Looking for recommendations for protecting the Christmas tree from my toddler.
I’m not sure what to do…looking for opinions please! Our local primary is very good but feeds into an average high school - we are also in catchment for this high school. The other two primary schools I’m considering applying for are also very good but feed into a different high school from our catchment area but...
Husband says he has no motivation to learn about how to care for the baby, but he’ll be involved when she’s here. Am I alone in wanting him to show an interest in learning stuff, or is it common that mums learn it all and dads figure it out. I’m so disappointed that it feels this unbalanced. Any recommendations for ...
What’s better between childminder or nursary?
This is such a random question, but with the free 15 hours do you have to use 15 hours or can you use for example just one day ?
Hi everyone. I am a stay at home mom and I wanted to get your opinions on going to college as a SAHM. I know that more than likely I’m going to have more kids and will stay home with them and homeschool. I had 3 semesters left to get my bachelors and it’s something I would really like to do since I want to become a ...
