Losing my job- my company is downsizing and it’s inevitable that I’ll be let go based on seniority. What do you do and do you like it?

I’m just looking to see what people are doing these days. My background is in banking (compliance- regulatory and policy/procedure with a big dose of mortgage background)

I love my job. I am a buyer.

Love my job! I teach Emotional Wellbeing to SEN students from the age of 16+

Love my job. Don’t do it though. I work in education. Overworked, underpaid, and shit on by the public Profession with the most educated and most disrespected people Would recommend working in HR or like financial logistics. From my friends experiences work can be annoying but they are well compensated and most times are at least hybrid

Full time mom / Part time actor.

You can substitute teach until you find something

I work in the healthcare field - caregiver. So much work and don’t get paid enough unless you get your CNA.

I was a medical assistant and loved it when I worked for thr right doctor, otherwise it's a bad paying job for you to be replaceable monkey, medical assistants are a dime a dozen. I switched and went to work in banking which I loved so much more. But I didn't deal with customers as I worked in auto repossession. Try working for a lender.

Thank you all! It’s always nice to see what everyone does. It’s tough as my husband has a very demanding job where I’d need to have a flexible job when it comes to hours and the ability to leave for appmnts for the kids, etc. without needing to schedule it way in advance. 😰
