Depends what is important to you. We went with a nursery because we needed the security that we weren’t going to have days cancelled because the childminder is ill or on holiday. But childminders were a bit cheaper

Definitely depends! We really wanted the consistency of knowing the same person looks after our child, can build a strong relationship with her and she can be looked after in a home environment so we chose a childminder. But, my husband is a teacher so she is only going term time, and our childminder takes all her holidays in the school holidays so that’s not an issue for us 😊

We chose a cm initially as my son was 6 months however wanted a nursery environment once he started to walk although was planning to wait until age two but our cm fell pregnant and then our replacement also became pregnant. My son had speech delay and we found out later he was autistic which was another reason we wanted to move him to nursery. Our first cm also didn’t do much with our son so I felt more pressure on my days off to go to groups although second one did do the park ect.
