Please can people tell me what it’s like to have an epidural, was it worth it? What did it feel like? I want one but scared of the needle

I have my elective c section in just over 4 weeks, and I’m starting to get nervous about the recovery. Can anyone share any tips to aid recovery? I’ll also have my wonderful 4 year old son at home so how’s best to navigate life with two post section! Thank you 🥰

After a quick two hour labour and delivery with my first my midwife has suggested I think about a home birth for this baby. Anyone who has had a home birth please share experiences please.
