How to keep labor moving?

Started regular contractions around 11pm last night, the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Went in to L&D around 9am this morning when they got to 4min apart. They said I’m 90% effaced but only 1cm dilated so they sent me home to labor longer. I’m still getting contractions but now they’re about 7-10 minutes apart. How can I keep things moving?

Walking and bouncing on a ball might help. But sometimes during labor things do slow a little and then it ramps back up again

Same here. My contractions stopped this morning. Today I’m doing more exercises to help open up my pelvis because I don’t think baby has even dropped yet

Ugh this happened to me. Contractions were so bad. I feel like all you can do is wait. If it makes you feel better I went in at 7 am was sent home and then by 9 pm contractions were 3 mins apart and I was 3cm dilated but they took me in if I agreed to be induced if needed. They broke my water but I labored on my own.

Look up the miles circuit! It’s supposed to help get labor going and get baby in a better position
