Sprits for bits

Going to take a look on Amazon today as it’s prime day to get anything else I may need. Oh Thursday I’ll find out if I need a C-section or not. Will sprits for bits still be good to have even if I have C-section? Also, what are these Peri bottles I keep seeing 😂 Any advice on what to pack if I do need a C-section…

Cesarean

Tomorrow marks 39 weeks of pregnancy, and I’ve just learned that I’ll need a C-section with my first child because she’s breech. This is the exact opposite of everything I had envisioned. I planned an unmedicated birth at a birthing center, surrounded by my midwives and doula. While I am deeply grateful to have acce...

In Labour…

Waters broke at 9pm yesterday. Confirmed at the hospital that it was my waters. I’m 37+4 weeks and this is my second baby. Contractions are coming roughly every 8 minutes depending on whether I’m standing or sitting. I can’t remember when I need to actually go to the hospital 😂

What were some labor signs you had?

No mucus plug yet, no water breaking, it seems like maybe just intense Braxton hicks? A lot of cramping. I’m due next week. What were some signs you had?

Baby Zara has arrived

October 5th at 1:06 am I gave birth to my little princess. I was induced on Thursday midnight and had her Saturday in the wee early hours. They started me off on certotec and a ballon catheter and then put me on pitocin to fully dilate. I went from 1cm to 4cm after balloon then 5 to 6 then 8 to 10! This was a very u...

I have been high risk pregnancy but now they only consider me an elective C-section for whatever reason. I just feel I am an extra for the day and will keep moving my ...

Braxton Hicks??

I just went in for reduce movements, whilst being monitored, my uterus movement/contractions were going up very regularly. Before the midwife left she said the line should pretty much stay flat, after monitoring for 45 minutes you can see it would massively increase every few minutes and I could feel a pressure when...

I'm due on the 10th, I had a membrane sweep on Friday, didn't have any contractions or anything afterwards but did have the bloody show and lots of mucous like discharge for the last few days since.
