Maternity pay NHS

I am an international student, gave birth in the United Kingdom, Do I have access to maternity pay as well from the Government? If I do, hope it’s not termed as public funds, I don’t want the pay to affect me applying for post study visa. Kindly help with information please 🙏 Thanks.

I've found that its usually said by the people who want to order expensive or they have money anyway!! I don't mind if we've basically had the same meal, but if I'm having a salad and water, and you get a steak and wine, no way I'm paying half the bill!!
