A play pen is not worth buying

I bought my daughter a play pen when she was around 6 months old, but I can only recall a handful of times where I actually used it, lol. Now it sits in the corner with miscellaneous stuff in it

RSV

Hi all, Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts and feeling are to the rsv vaccine? I know it’s new in the uk and I don’t know what to do! My little boy is due in January and every health professional I see is telling me to get it but I’m worried as it’s new.

No to jabs

Has anyone decided against the jabs? I was so undecided and after a meeting with a homeopath I’m leaning towards not vaccinating. I don’t know whether to vaccinate at a later age or leave but it’s such a big decision! My parents think I am crazy to not vaccinate and their influence is important to me - can anyone he...

Number of 💩

How many times within 24 hours does your baby go to the loo? And at what times of the day? In up right now because of a night poo. It keeps happening. Yesterday was a 5 am poonami. Baby goes 4-5 times a day. 2 massive nappy changes before 8 am then usually another nice big one around 4/5 pm. The rest are smaller s...

Covid and flu jabs

I have a dodgy heart, so I always get the Covid jab and flu jab every year. I’ve been invited for it this year but I’ve declined it at the moment just because I’m only seven weeks and six days pregnant. Just wondering if anyone else has had the jabs early in pregnancy? And if so, how did it go? Thanks

How often does/did your 1yo poop.

My LO for the first 11m pooped 2-3 times a week since 11m he’s been pooping 2-4 times a DAY I’m concerned if this is normal. They are a normal consistency, but like SO FULL OF SHIT this kid. Oh my goodness.

Health visitor home visit second baby

Hi! I have the HV coming tomorrow, to my home to give me the red book and introduce themselves. I’m 36w and this is my second baby, first is 18 months. I never had this before- it seems a bit odd. Anyone know why they are coming? No safeguarding issues or anything social- just seems random and pointless 🤣

Bathing

Ladies how often do you bath your babies. I bathe my boy every other day when he stays there for a bit longer and play with his toys and on the other days we do a quick bath when I just clean him and we are out within few minutes. I’m wondering as I spoke to a friend and she said she only bathe her kids twice a week.

Baby 💩

My little one is exclusively breastfed and only poops about once a week. I’ve talked to the pediatrician a few times since this has been happening since we left the hospital, and he just says this is normal for BF babies and not to worry but it stresses me out, especially when she starts getting super fussy/in pain ...

Low Papp-a

The hospital have contacted me to say it’s been detected that I’ve got low papp-a and that it puts myself and baby at higher risk of things. Has anyone heard of this or experienced it before?
