i'm lucky that my husband has been able to take quite a bit of time off work (self-employed) so it hasn't been too hard. my daughter turned 2 three days after her sister was born, and she's genuinely been amazing, so gentle and sweet with her. we are also getting lots of big feelings though, and as she still breastfeeds she now wants to feed pretty much whenever the new baby feeds😅 before baby was born it was 1/2 feeds a day🤣 we did lotssssss of screen time the first week or so, but managing to bring that back down a bit now, and getting out and about a bit more too! i do still find some days overwhelming and difficult though. how are you finding it? xx

Losing the will to live if I’m honest 😬 Baby is 3 weeks, toddler is 2 years 9 months and the tantrums are horrific!

My husband went back to work today so I’m now solo with 19 month, 5 week and 2 dogs for the next 10 weeks 😅 Embracing the chaos, accepting things won’t go to plan while trying to make sure we’re getting out. I did read a post saying their second baby taught them patience and I can really relate. Very grateful my son goes down to bed like a dream as my baby daughter screamed her way through bedtime, that was my hardest part of the day. Just popped her through to her snuz pod for singing his song and popping him into bed 🫶🏽

Everything was going like a dream until the last 2 weeks! Think the novelty of a baby brother has worn off and my 3 year old is getting so jealous and just wants me all the time and just wants to be cuddled! I'm exhausted!

I have a 7 week old and a just turned 18 month old who’s just coming into his tantrum phase 😅 fortunately he’s in nursery two days a week so it’s not too bad! But my husband works 6 days a week so I have the two of them alone most of the time.. there’s deffo good days and bad days but luckily he’s very good and caring to his baby brother already even though he’s still practically a baby himself 🥹 I’ve had to learn to have eyes in the back of my head though that’s for sure 🤣
