There were 3 on the list when we had ours. We were first and baby was born at 9:12am, the second lady was taken down around 10:30 and the third around 11:30am

I had to be in for 7:30am and I was second on the list and baby was born at 11:21am xx

My slot was at 9am baby was born at 9:56. Took me straight down. Think it depends on each hospital as some just tell all to arrive at the same time where like mine they have different slots. Xx

On the day of my section I was number 4 out of 4 and 2 emergencies came in so I was struck off and moved to the following day as they had run out of time. The next day I was first on the list and my baby was born at 10:02

With our eldest we were second or third on the list and time of birth was 10:57am. We were first for our new addition and time of birth was 9:25am.

I stayed in the night before i was second got taken down at 12 and she was born at 12:46 xx

I had to be in for 8.00am but my son was born 12:02pm as we went second!

Mine was emergency section and they had to bump a planned lady which I felt bad about. This was around 1pm and they said I was their 5th of the day. So as everyone says very dependent on what’s going on.

I had to be there for 7.15am, I was last and baby was born at 1.30pm x

13:33 😊

I had to be in for 8. There were 2 of us that day, I was first, baby was born at 10:33am

Asked to come in for 11am and didn’t have it until 4:15pm

Went in for 7am - was 3rd on the list and baby was taken down at 13:40 - baby was born at 14:48

We was in at 7 and had baby at 9.18 it seemed to go so quickly and the doctors/nurses had change over in-between. I was so happy it was all over so quick. I’m not sure how I’d have coped sitting around all day waiting

@Lucy did you have to go home and come back? Or stay in?

@Rachel don’t feel bad! These things happen I’d understand if an emergency had to take my place

@Angela yeah I’m slightly nervous of having to wait around think the longer I wait the more stressed I’ll become. It is what it is tho just hoping for a smoother birth than my first. X

Went home and came back next morning. I was told about 3pm that I wouldn’t be taken

@Rachel definitely do not feel bad. I got bumped to the next day as an emergency came in and I was totally fine about it. I actually felt bad for the person who was having the emergency section. Myself and my husband just enjoyed another night together before baby arrived

I’m sure it will be fine!! The glucose drink thing you have to drink in the morning isn’t too bad. Tastes a bit weird but it’s manageable. I hope everything goes well for you!!!

4:10pm

I would check with your hospital if they use the same theatres for emergencies/electives. At the hospital where I had my little boy (Derby) they are separate so you don’t get pushed back by emergency sections. I didn’t even have to step foot on the Labour ward. They do the electives on the gynaecology floor. So glad as I was so anxious I don’t think I could have bared it being pushed back x

I was the last person on the "morning list" for mine. Had to be there for 7am, baby was born at 12.30 xx

2nd in the list and 10:46am

Mine was Born at 2.30pm

I went to hospital at 7:30am and was the first to have a c section from their morning list. Baby was born at 9:29am x
