Anyone with GD getting or has been induced?

I’m currently 37+4 with GDM on insulin and supposed to be induced this weekend. Just waiting for the call to confirm the date and time. Hoping I could go into labour naturally before being induced but seems unlikely 😭

@Priy oh wow, how do you feel about being induced? Did they give you an induction date?
They have to call tomorrow to confirm but it seems likely to be this weekend (Sunday or Monday) based on what my OB said. I’m a little nervous about it but trying to remain positive. I’m still trying everything to go into labor naturally but little guy seems to be comfy in there lol. Just hoping it goes well. I think the nerves will really hit me when I get confirmation of the call. Until then I’m just trying to rest, and distract myself.
@Priy crazy that it would literally be anytime this weekend. May I ask what you've tried to go into labor? I feel the same way. I'm trying to relax right now and not over think about the induction.
Hey! I’m in the same boat, I have GD my OB has told me I’d likely get induced at 38 or 39 weeks but isn’t going to make a decision closer to the time. I’m currently 36 weeks. I was told it depends on baby’s weight in ultrasound scans, my blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
