Hi! I have the HV coming tomorrow, to my home to give me the red book and introduce themselves. I’m 36w and this is my second baby, first is 18 months. I never had this before- it seems a bit odd. Anyone know why they are coming? No safeguarding issues or anything social- just seems random and pointless 🤣
My son has his first flu jab on Sunday. Has anyone else’s little ones had this yet and had any side effects?
Ladies how often do you bath your babies. I bathe my boy every other day when he stays there for a bit longer and play with his toys and on the other days we do a quick bath when I just clean him and we are out within few minutes. I’m wondering as I spoke to a friend and she said she only bathe her kids twice a week.
My little one is exclusively breastfed and only poops about once a week. I’ve talked to the pediatrician a few times since this has been happening since we left the hospital, and he just says this is normal for BF babies and not to worry but it stresses me out, especially when she starts getting super fussy/in pain ...
The hospital have contacted me to say it’s been detected that I’ve got low papp-a and that it puts myself and baby at higher risk of things. Has anyone heard of this or experienced it before?
What are peoples opinions? Are they not NHS recommended?
My nephew is 2 months old. Since day one he has not been able to poop regularly and sometimes goes THIRTEEN DAYS without going. BF and formula fed. Switched formulas and still no change. Anyone have experience with this? What has worked for you to help baby’s bowels? I’m so scared baby will go septic!! Help!!!

Baby had awful issues with painful and hard to pass gas. Started giving infocol before every feed which has helped a lot so far but I’m just wondering does that mean they’re on that for ages or how long until you can like stop giving them that? Does anyone else's toddler throw up everytime you give them calpol or nurofen, he's 2 and got a temperature but just throws it up as soon as I give it to him, so annoying :( wondering if theres something else going on and how common this is!
My little guy has been having intense gas pain’s that keeps him up at night. I have to help him get his gas out. It’s only recently been this bad and I don’t know what to do?☹️ side note-He is breastfed, I changed my diet, I do give him gripe water, however, I don’t want to make him dependent on that either. Good morning I did a gender blood test and test yesterday at my OBGYN appointment and my Baby Daddy and I have agreed that his sister-in-law will do the gender reveal for us but what doesn’t make sense for me is that I spoke with them multiple of times trying to give them her information because I do not want them s...
My 1 month old hasn’t had a bowel movement in now over 24 hours. He is feeding normally and doesn’t seem upset, having his regular naps etc and has actually been cluster feeding today. He is still passing wind. Should I phone the health visitor? Or is it normal to have a period of less dirty nappies? He’s had bottle...
Hey ladies, I just spoke to my doctor and he suggested early induction because of my bile acid in my liver going up. Has anyone else experienced this?
I’m Canadian European and my partner is Taiwanese and raised in Thailand. His family wants to shave my baby’s head and put his hair into a pen. A tradition that I just can’t bring myself to do. I love my sweet boys hair but don’t want to disappoint his family more than I already do.
Hi guys! My daughter is currently 15 months old and I’m trying to implement a regular bathtime routine in the evenings before bedtime. With the uk weather I always worry she would catch a cold from having a daily bath. I’m hoping to give it another try. I have a few questions regarding the evening bath routines that...
I’m at my wits end here, feel like I’m the only one whose baby just can’t keep anything down😢😢 We’ve been weaning baby for a while he’s 6 months old now and suffered with sick since birth. He’s now on prescribed milk for suspected CMA, thickner. Been on gaviscon, omeprazole. Weaned early thinking with food he’d…
