Gas pain

My little guy has been having intense gas pain’s that keeps him up at night. I have to help him get his gas out. It’s only recently been this bad and I don’t know what to do?☹️ side note-He is breastfed, I changed my diet, I do give him gripe water, however, I don’t want to make him dependent on that either. I just don’t know what to do, it hurts my heart seeing him in pain!

We do mylicon and bicycle kicks

Gripe water can actually irritate some babies bellies more than I would use mylicon

If the bicycle legs and stomach massage don't work, there are tubes you can insert to provide quick relief. I used them with my little guy for a couple weeks when he was struggling

Mylicon drops worked so well for me! I tried the bicycle kicks and they def help a bit for my daughter but I haven’t gotten the gas out that way…just moved it around a bit so she’s more comfortable. Something that worked so well for her was going on the yoga ball. I would hold her and bounce lightly on my yoga ball and she’d always get the burp out! Maybe worth a try?!

I had to do a huge diet shift, I give mylicon before his night feedings when I know he’s going to be grunting/in pain the most. Frida baby makes this amazing tummy message stick I use before doing a few exercises. My last resort is the frida baby gas passers, he’s almost 10 weeks and finally farts more on his own! Hope you can find something that helps him☺️

Mylicon - and if worst case and nothing else is working I find a warm bath really soothes their digestive system

Are you eating any dairy? Cows milk can be hard on baby’s belly through breast milk.

Milicon & 1/3 of the liquid of the children’s suppository once a night if needed.

I’m in the same boat, my girls gas just got way worse than before. Bicycles, windy, and gas drops don’t help but we do them anyways. We just do our best to burp her and are riding it out…
