Cluster feeding

My LG is breastfed (5.5 weeks old too) and is going through a period of cluster feeding too. There’s a growth spurt around 6 weeks x

Yep!!!! I’ve had a cluster feeding baby since Friday night - she is 6 weeks on Friday! And it has been almost all days and half the night some times. I’m praying it eases off as my boobs are in hell 😂

@Lucy Mine too! It doesn’t help that I’ve been on two lots of antibiotics for an infection in my C-section incision which has caused oral thrush in my LG which she has passed onto me. We’ve got treatment for it but my boobs are so sore! 😂 xx

I’m seeing these posts everywhere for 5 week + babies so yes it’s definitely normal! Cheeky lil hoomans 🫶🏽🤍 mines 6 weeks on Sunday

@Laura oh bless you!!! That sounds an added bonus for you!! Honestly so much of the time I’m like is she even getting any milk? Especially as it seems never ending 😂

@Lucy I’m exactly the same! I find myself squeezing my boob when she unlatches to see if there’s any milk there (there always is) 😂 It’s good to know I’m not alone in cluster feeding hell…..my LG is 6 weeks on Friday xx

@Laura oh same birthday as mine!!!!! Honestly I’ve been doing the EXACT same!!! And then I’m like well it must be the latch surely no one is this starving all the time 😂

I'm going through the cluster feeding stage again 🫣 exactly 5 weeks old today. My nipples are going to fall off 🫠🫠🫠
