Anyone else?
I’m currently 6 weeks post c section and not breastfeeding. I just went to the bathroom and had a lot of thick clear discharge (similar to a mucus plug) does this mean my period is imminent? Has anyone else had this?

My whole bleeding/period been frustrating since my C-section. Had heavy bleeding from my C-section to about 3 weeks pp. It stopped to where I almost didn’t need a pad, then suddenly for 2 days it was heavy then died down, then I got thick discharge, bleeding for 3 days and now it’s light again
Thank you both, guessing it’s normal then! It just took me by surprise today. Dreading my first postpartum period 😩

I had thicker discharge on and off from 8 weeks onwards and got my period at 14 weeks. From what other people have put in the past in this group it’s normal for a lot of C-section people to get thicker discharge around this time out of no where.
