For those of us still waiting

First-time mom: I'm due on October 27th, and there are currently no signs of labor. The mucus plug is still intact, I haven't experienced a bloody show, and the baby is still positioned high. There's also no colostrum or any leakage from my breasts! 😂😂😂 However, my entire body is in pain. My pelvis hurts quite a bit! I've been having irregular Braxton Hicks contractions, and last evening I experienced three very strong contractions for the first time—strong enough that it felt like the baby was about to come out at 100 miles per hour!

I’m in the same boat! Due on 10/28 and mostly just experiencing pain from very loose joints and baby kicking excessively in my ribs and pressure on my cervix. I’ve only had a few BH, with only one being really intense! But I’m noticing some small changes every day and knowing it could all change in an instant…or continually build up over the next 1-2 weeks?! If babies truly came on their due date I would probably have some serious anticipation and anxiety so I keep telling myself the mystery of it all is fun 😂

Yes @Jamie! These little humans have their clock for sure! I hope our babies get here soon! We are ready for the next phase of “suffering” 😂😂😂

Samesies, my due date is the 27th and I haven’t lost my mucus plug, haven’t had any contractions not even BH, and overall feel pretty much the same as I did a month ago. Pelvic pain has increased slightly and I have been able to collect some colostrum, I really hope he doesn’t wait too much longer I’m so excited to meet him!

Same here! Due date 10/28 i got checked last week i was 1cm dilated but with no symptoms of labor whatsoever, i been having some mild period cramping since yesterday but nothing has progressed. I also have an appointment tomorrow hopefully im more dilated 🙌🏼we got this!

Same! I hear it can all change so fast so trying to have hope. Due date is 10/31 for me. I’ve had my first mild contractions but not dilated yet. I was at L&D yesterday for brown discharge but turns out it was an infection 🤦🏻‍♀️ Pelvic pain increased this week so im just trying to make it through this last week of work and then I’ll start leave and wait! 🤞
