What is the best age in your opinion to start nursery? Not sent my little one yet, debating whether to start in January 🥹

We sent ours the month before he turned 1 as I was going back to work. He only did one morning per week and then from this September he started doing one morning and one full day. He loves it, he’s really sociable and so good around other kids x

I don’t think there’s a right or wrong, just do what’s best for your situation: My little girl started nursery at 11 months old. She started going for 2 mornings per week in September 2022 and then we increased in to 3 mornings per week from February. She loves it, and we feel she has benefitted massively from this. We’re very fortunate that it’s a great nursery and that she enjoys it so much. I reckon it’s a personal choice, situational. If there was a full time place I’m sure my little girl would be in here element, but for me I feel that 3 mornings per week is enough at the moment and I love having my afternoons with her. It’s such a short space of time until they start school so I’m soaking up every moment I can x

Mine started at 2, absolutely loves going

Mine started a day and a half a week at 6 months because I had to go back to work, it was a really hard decision to make and I didn’t like sending her that young! But she has picked up some amazing social skills and has made friends that she always talks about which is really lovely! We’re also really fortunate that it’s a great nursery! My second is 3 months old and I’ll definitely be waiting longer!
