confused
i was told as long as you exclusively breastfeed your period will take a while to get back. i’m only 5 weeks pp and my cycle just came back. i breastfeed during the day but i barely feed at night due to my son sleeping longer thru the night. i don’t really pump either because it hurts 🥴😭 has this happened to anyone else? and will my supply go down from not feeding as much at night?

@P3YAA i also just started the pill so i assumed maybe that had something to do with it as well
Mine came back the first time around 5/6 weeks and I breastfed for 14 months so I wouldn’t worry about supply. Everyone is different and the pill would have definitely had an impact on it returning.
mine came back 12 weeks postpartum with no hormonal contraception while ebf, and my daughter wasn't sleeping through the night. i'm still feeding her at 2 years old, your supply should be absolutely fine. everyone is different xx

Hi @Kee I think when it comes to your cycle everyone’s body is so different. I wouldn’t worry, I think this starts to happen as you say when your feeding gets lessened and your hormones drops in it’s level - clicking our body back into it’s natural cycle 🙂
