Induction

Me! Exactly the same and my mucus plug & waters went (within a couple of hours of eachother) 2 days before induction was booked for. 😊 As I was late my waters were dark green (she had pooped in there) so we had to go to hospital straight away to be monitored throughout, ring hosp if waters aren't clear 🩷 good luck! x

I had 0 signs, and at 40+5 my waters randomly broke. I had an induction as no contractions the next day but it was the best and quickest experience. Stay active, have sex if you can (my waters broke hours after sex) and hopefully it will happen!

I never got offered an induction or sweep unless I was 10 days over. I went into spontaneous labour at 38+5 but mucus plug and waters hadn’t broke it was just contractions. Water broke at 39+9 with assistance from midwives and mucus plug came too. Gave birth at exactly 40w. I hope your hub comes before they have to induce you. Good luck 🤍

Yes. This was me. I had 2 sweeps and then a third, the midwife said that she couldn't reach my cervix as it was so high up. I started getting contractions 8 or 9 hours later and had the baby the next day x

With my first my midwife attempted a sweep just before 40 weeks and i was closed but I went into labor at 40+3

I didn't have my mucus plug and waters didn't break until I was 8cm dilated at 41+5, hang in there you can do this x

@Sammy I was booked in for an induction at 41 weeks but had the baby at 40+5. My first baby I did have to be induced (at 41 weeks) as my waters broke at 40+5 but I didn't go into labour. Keeping my fingers crossed for you going in to labour naturally!!
