Positive c section

I've had 2. 1 planned, 1 unplanned.. I weighed closed to 20 stone. Everything went well

I had an emergency C-section, but my spinal was fine! It felt like someone was doing the washing up in my tummy. Most bizarre feeling! I was up and walked 5 hours after surgery! Only thing I’d suggest, is if u have an over hang on ur belly is after showering to ensure it’s dry and use talc! But they’ll check u on day 1 & then day 5 my dressing came off! Good luck, there is nothing better than meeting ur baby for the first time! Makes it all worth it 🥹

I’ve had two electives, the last this July and both were amazing experiences. Like the above up and walking the same day and healed with zero problem. They were controlled, calm and stress free leaving nothing to chance which is exactly what I wanted for my birth experience. Also agree with the above ensure you keep the wound dry. I used a sanitary towel stuck to the back of my knickers to ensure the area was moisture free. Good luck!
