Tips for naps in daytime

Any tips would be massively appreciated. My 6wo wont go down on her own for any naps in the day time. During the night she is fine in her next to me but as soon as I try to put her down in her moses basket or even the next to me during the day she’ll kick off, even if she’s in a deep sleep on me beforehand. I need to get things done around the house and can’t contact nap all day 🤦‍♀️

I could have wrote this .. my 5wo this week has been the same. I feel your pain. :( x

Following as in the same boat!

My 6 week old was the same until a few days ago when I got one of the Tommee Tippee grobags 🙌🏼 I feed him then put him in it when he’s a bit milk sleepy (but not fully asleep) then put his dummy in and 9 times out of 10 since I’ve had the grobag it’s worked. I lay the grobag out in the Moses basket before I feed him so all I need to do is lay him on it and zip it up. Obvs only helpful if you aren’t already swaddling her… I was using the LTD swaddle up bag before but he was waking himself up because he could still knock his dummy out with his little arm stumps 😂

My LO has been going through this and she’s 5 weeks old. We tried getting a baby carrier but she isn’t use to it and doesn’t settle with it.

Following as I could have written this myself! My 6wo is starting to settle in a baby carrier through the day 🤞🏼

Our LO is 6 weeks today. He is a fan of contact naps too. A baby wrap is fab as he falls asleep and I’m hands free to do what I need, we have a Joe and Joy one and a Freerider one. But as of yesterday we got the Rockit and put him in his pram once asleep and it rocks it for 30 minutes and seems to keep him asleep. Good luck!
