How’s everyone getting on?

5 weeks old, constantly feeding I’m bf and have forgotten how demanding it is, can’t be put down without screaming and I think has colic but colic drops making her constipated oh and 2 hours of uninterrupted sleep is the longest she’s let me sleep 🙃 apart from that and having a wild toddler I think I’m just about ok 🤣 let me know how you are all getting on!!

5 weeks pp and episiotomy hardly healed so in lots of pain and baby has witching hour pretty much anytime dad is out of house 😂. Going stir crazy staring at walls listening to him scream and hoping I can heal ...also very tired 😴...but very in love with baby too haha

@Imogen haha maybe I should add loving the baby too 🤣🤣 oops xxx

I found that my little one (same age 5 weeks) was constantly bf through the night so I was getting 0 sleep. I have a 2 1/2 year old as well who has no chill so I need to rest. Ended up giving baby a bottle of formula about 11pm after a bf so I’m not loosing supply. She’s now sleeping a lot better in the night a few hours for a good sleep for me. I just make sure she is burped and is laying on my chest upright for about 30 mins after the bottle to get any wind up. Worked wonders for us. Xx

5 weeks PP and doing amazing at night (thankGOD & touch wood!!!) baby slept tonight from 7pm - 12pm which is insane but our night routine has become amazing where he doesn’t cry at all (5 nights so far) as I hear him wriggling around and I get up to feed him before he wakes up. During the day, has so much trouble sleeping unless he’s on me 😬 besides that all is going well and I can’t believe how fast time has gone (says the lady with an 11 year old 🤣)

4 weeks PP. Having a wobble today after a few rough nights, lots of fussiness, having to hold her all the time and just being exhausted. Had to introduce formula since my little one wasn’t gaining weight, and now wondering if she has a cows milk allergy. Feeling a bit overwhelmed - how to make her happy and stop the fussiness. And of course, it’s that time of day when fear of the night ahead sets in 🫠 last few nights she’s fussed until about 1am so we’ve had no sleep until then, and a toddler that gets us up at 6am! Other than that, we’re doing well 😅
