Christmas

What are you planning on buying your babies this year for Christmas? Don’t know what to get as he’ll only be 3 months old and is too young to play with anything.

I’m thinking some clothes and books and maybe 1 or 2 age appropriate toys

Some sensory toys, a play pen and a walker that I will put away for a wee while

Nothing - he'll have no idea and I just get him what he needs when he needs it!

If other people have asked what to get her we have asked contributions toward things she'll need a few months after Christmas, like a high chair or weaning stuff, or just money to go into her ISA

We’re putting money in an account for her for the future. I’ve asked for an Oscha baby carrier off my husband so technically that’s for her!

Taking a vacation for Christmas, but getting clothes, books and toys.

Probably just some teethers, stuff for weaning like bowls n plates etc in preparation for 6 months and clothes

We are literally just getting her a toy box and anything we see that she needs closer the time. Not getting any toys or anything because family and friends will be buying her stuff and have already bought her stuff she can’t use yet

Me and my partner and getting our little girl a personalised toy box, sensory toys and 3-6M clothes.

I’ve gotten my little one sensory toys and rattles and a few bits he can play with between Christmas and his birthday when he’s 6months+ I hate when people say don’t get them anything they wont understand but it’s also a day for you to have in your memories, a good idea my friend gave me was getting nappies and wipes and clothes he may need and wrap them up so they still get the experience but as they won’t know any different it’s things they need but getting stuff for when they a bit older is a good idea too then you have it there ready and don’t have to go out in March and get loads of toys to entertain them x

@Charley what ISA do you use? Wanting to start one up for my boy xx

A play gym only because she has a sibling and he will wonder why Santa didn’t bring anything.

I decided nothing as such this year as others will give some stuff and we always get her bits if she needs them and little understanding. I’m asking for a jumperoo and one nice wooden toy from others as can be used a bit later then money for her savings account. A nice idea though is some sensory toys with lights and sounds (I have slot of these from work and babies love them ) x

We did let get our first anything for Xmas other than a personalized bauble that had his name etc on it. He was around 3-4 months old so he didn’t understand and couldn’t open presents. Family got him loads of other bits so to us there wasn’t much point.

@Charis nutmeg - no idea what the pros and cons are of the type of ISA but my husband did a lot of research before setting one up for her 😂

I got a night projector for bedtime or a Toni box he's same age xxx
