Uterus contracting/shrinking after birth

Hi guys I keep getting waves of mini contractions today as my urerus is returning to a normal size, but they kind of hurt! Not anything like labour of course but still uncomfortable especially when I lay down. Anyone find the same?

I found mine near enough the same as labour but not like 10cm ones haha more like 3/4cm haha! Totally normal unfortunately for us! Hope you’re okay! Mine only came in waves and finished as quickly as they started.

Uhhh maybe like 2-3 weeks. But by week 3 it was barely a thing. It made me stop in my tracks. It’s not nice at all. I found the contractions of the uterus worse than the c section I had hahah! Xx

Yeah! Totally normal! Especially after breastfeeding. I found it didn’t hurt anywhere near as badly after a week. Was also worse with my second
