How much bleeding is normal post sweep/failed sweep?
I had a failed sweep today, (38 +3 weeks) and i bled in the process. My midwife advised i would likely have some pinkish discharge after.
I’ve just been to the toilet and wiped and there was a fair bit of blood, although nothing on my pad. Baby is moving, i’m just worried how do i know what is normal for after?
Is it normal i’m bleeding even though the sweep wasn’t successful?

If you’re concerned about bleeding do get checked. If it’s read and heavy it’s a concern, if it’s pink spotting it’s generally expected. But no harm in calling triage
thank you, it only was pinky red after i went to the toilet that first time, had a little bit of brown in my pad but nothing else since so just going to continue monitoring it

I bled a fair bit after I had a sweep and the midwife sent me to hospital. I would call triage and ask them if you're worried. Better to be safe xx
