Post partum recovery after c section

I’m after ideas from people who have had c sections before whether emergency or scheduled. My partners best friends wife is pregnant and after 3 previous losses this one has stuck🤞🏻🥰 she’ll be scheduled for a c section in March as she’s an older ftm and diabetic and I want to make her a post partum recovery hamper. I have no clue what would help as I’ve only given birth vaginally so I need ideas on some “life saver” bits that you feel helped loads during recovery? I’ve done hampers for pregnant friends before for their baby showers but they aren’t doing anything like that and I want this one to be specifically targeted to her and making her recovery as smooth and as easy as possible cause she deserves it 🥰

Not sure I can be much help but just wanted to say this is a lovely thing to do! ❤️ I know you can get c section specific post partum disposable undies. You can also buy c section scar patches from Frida mom. I've seen both of those when I've been picking up bits. Not really sure if there's anything else specific!!

This is such a lovely thing to do, if I’m honest not much helps however I would recommend some but high waisted comfy pjs, maybe some nice bubble bath for when she’s able to have a bath because that first bath feels sooooo good! Maybe a nice cushion ad holding baby can some times hurt and I found holding a cushion over my tummy helped especially when I had to cough or sneeze x

@Lauren is there anything to stay away from when choosing bubble baths? Don’t wanna cause irritation from it that’s all

I don’t think it will really make much of a difference as she won’t be able to have a bath until she’s healed anyway i don’t think I used anything different to what I usually used as it was like 6 weeks PP I managed to have a bath x
