Hospital bag

How many weeks along are you when your packing your hospital bag? I kind of want to do it now but I think it might be too early (27+2 weeks) just like getting all baby stuff ready (gotta get it all out of storage and wash everything) but I just feel it might be too early 🤦🏼‍♀️

I googled this the other day because I wanted todo it and thought it was too early, everything I read suggested to get it down around 4-6 weeks before your due date. So I’m trying to hold off for a few more weeks😅

Ive done babies bag at 26 weeks pregnant just got to get my bag ready xx

I’m currently 28+4 and slowly putting it together now. I’m adding bits as I buy them or come across them when sorting out the nursery/baby bits. I am to have it complete by 34 weeks just in case

Are you packing newborn or 0-3 months clothes?

@Stacey both

I think it's better to do it too early than too late, do it when you have the time and energy. I'll first need to wash all the clothes bought and take back the chest of drawer from my oldest, as we will use it as changing table. But by 35w I'm expecting to have my bag done. I also need to put it in a safe place as I don't trust my cat lol 😅

I’m due at end of Jan so will probably pack it while I’m off on holiday over Christmas period

Its never too early to be prepared x

I haven’t even wrote a list yet and it’s stressing me out. Much rather have it done early as you never know what could happen xx

My baby hospital bag is packed (might remove or add a few things as I've got newborn and 0-3 packed since I don't know what size I'm expecting yet!), my hospital bag only has the things I've collected for it specifically like pads, a hand held fan, some decanted toiletries etc. clothes I'm still wearing so I'll get that in closer to the time!! Also my husband knows what panties, bras, socks and pajamas look like so I'm not worried at all if he has to add those in a rush later 🤭

Probably get Christmas done then pack it, but I’m on baby 3 so know what I am and am not packing 🫢

Never too early once you’re beyond 20 weeks I’d start packing. With my first 2 children I was all packed waiting to go by 30 weeks. With my 3rd I hadn’t even started at 30 weeks and had to get my partner to pack for me when I unexpectedly had her at 33 weeks

It’s never too early. I had my first child at 30 weeks which was a surprise but I’d luckily packed my bag at 28 weeks ahah. Now I’ve started mine this time round at 26 weeks just to be safe 🥰
