Mine does it too. I just leave him but it’s impossible to sleep through it all
Same with my 6 week old at the same time too. Gripe water worked really well for her this morning
Are you sure this isn't just active sleep? Google it. Often involves thrashing around, grunting etc doesn't necessarily mean they are aware or in pain! My LO does it.
Same!!
Snap! My little girl does this every morning around 6am. She will quieten down after rocking her a bit in her moses basket, but then starts up again moments later. How strange we’re all experiencing it!!
Yes we had this with my first. We tried doing some massage on his tummy and bicycle legs which helped a tiny bit but tbh it was just a phase we had to ride out - eventually they learn to get it out themselves 🫠 infacol / gripe water did nothing for us
@Siobhan how do you give the gripe water? Just when she’s doing this and uncomfortable, or when she feeds? X
Mine doesnthe same! don’t know what to do
It’s a phase. I’m sure it’s to do with sleep pressure but it definitely does pass.
@Vicky just when she's uncomfortable. Most mornings I can rock her back to sleep but she seemed really uncomfortable today. I gave her 2.5ml
@Siobhan perfect, thanks! Will try that ☺️
Yep this exact thing happens for us too around 6am
Out of interest is everyone’s babies breastfed or formula and if formula which brand?

Ours is combi feed. Breast and SMA Advanced
We used infacol after every feed yesterday and during the night and it made such a difference! Easier to burp and he did a poo during the night and slept until 7am after his 4.30am feed and when he did wake up, no screaming! Will try again with it but only use during night feeds!
Same happening with my 5 week old baby. Every early morning around 6am he gets gassy and seems to struggle to pass wind. He seems so uncomfortable but doesn’t cry, just grunts
