Baby slings/carriers

For ref: LO is now 7lb 1oz and is 1 month old. I brought the momcozy carrier as it started that is was for “newborns - toddlers” and nothing on there website stated minimum weight limit however when it arrive and I read the instructions, it says suitable from 3 months old or 8lb! Im now looking into a sling and I’ve seen one on amazon for £20 by a brand called ‘trekki’ however it says “Suitable for 8-35lbs / 3-15kg” Correct me if I’m wrong by 3kg converts to 6lb 9oz! Which is not 8lbs? Do you think I can get it? If not, Can anyone recommend an affordable sling that would be suitable for my NB

I got the ergobaby embrace and am very happy with it. It is expensive but I got it off of Vinted for around £30. It was worth it

I love my koalacare sling, so easy to use you just pop it on like a t-shirt n adjust. I got it on Amazon for £40

Close caboo.

Ergobaby, worth the price point for how supportive it is x

I brought the trekki wrap from Amazon. Very comfortable and has room to grow. My girl is 9lbs though but she seemed secure and safe in there.

@Alisha this is the one I have too with the big front pocket, I really like it. I watched a video on how to tie it and it’s really easy!

We had an ergobaby 360 for my first and LOVED it but always felt she was a bit small as a newborn so this time we got the embrace for when she is super tiny and it’s great! Super soft, very easy to put on and perfect for their teeny bodies. When she is older we will move to the other as it’s super supportive even when they are heavy xx

@Kate we have the ergobaby360 but didn't realise it needs a newborn insert otherwise can't be used till 4 months so we're just gonna keep using the sling till she's old enough for the Ergobaby🥲 did the ergobaby 360 hurt your back at all? I got it in the hopes of avoiding back pain 😅

@Chloe HA! This makes total sense now! Glad we have the other for the first few months. No, I found it super supportive when it was high and tight enough. My daughter was always about 99% height and 95% weight and it was still never bad on our backs even when like 18 months old. Probably our best investment.

I’ve got the CuddleBug wrap from Amazon and finding it great x
