Constipation?
My 9 week old hasn’t pooped for the last 4 days? Hes farting constantly but no poop, he goes red and gets unsettled while farting. Iv tried bicycle legs and tummy massages etc. I’m kind of at a loss on what will help and whether this is normal or not? He would usually poop like 6-8 times a day! He’s ebf with reflux and cmpa. He is also on omeprazole.

If no improvement give 1oz cooled boiled water every 12 hours, my baby is formula fed and is on anti reflux milk and gets constipated, he usually poops within 6-8 hours afterwards, if u don’t have a bottle to feed the water in try a syringe, don’t stress about him spitting it out or refusing to swallow he’ll get used to it x

It’s normal for BF babies to go up to a week without going. Health visitor advised me that as long as your still getting lots of wet nappies this is fine as it shows they are not dehydrated!
