Induction
Got induced today, or at least started the process. The midwife has just checked how far along I am because Im having alot of painful tightenings and the hormones they put in fell out (sorry tmi). When she examined me, she said I was still only 2cm dilated. Is it normal to be in so much pain from the tightening so early on?

Yes I also found induction at 2cm quite unpleasant x
Induction is more pain full unfortunately 🥲 cause it’s not a gradual thing like natural xx
Yes I was induced a couple weeks ago and was 2cm in agony after a couple of hours and was ready to push 4ish hours later. Keep asking them to check, hope it’s going okay!! X
Yes induction contractions are known to be more painful than spontaneous labour

Yes. With my first, I was induced and was in absolute agony at 2cm and when they checked me a very short while later I was 10cm, so it’s possible you could dilate very quickly too from this point onwards. Dont be disheartened by the 2cm, you’ve got this 💪🏼 x
