Clary Sage Oil

Has anyone had any success inducing labour with clary sage oil? How was it? How long did it take? I've just had a bath with clary sage oil but then googled afterwards! I think I probably put a bit too much in as apparently only a couple of drops is recommended. I've also read you shouldn't use if you're trying for a vbac (which I am) as it can cause stronger uterine contractions. Any advice/experience?

I used it exactly same like 3 days ago and in the moment used way too much, like quarter of the bottle🫢. Literally nothing happened, felt a bit light headed and sleepy but definitely didn't kick start labour 😐

I didnt use it until 40weeks both times. I would put it in a diffuser, bath or mixed with a carrier oil to apply on pressure points. It didnt make me go into labour but i craved and loved the smell of it. It just used to set of really strong regular braxton hicks contractions which are beneficial for labour. Do it more as relaxing ritual without thinking of starting something. The more relaxed you are the more things will progress. The better quality oil the better the effects too

Thank you. I didn't have my baby during the night so that's something. Had some cramping but I've been having that anyway! Maybe I will just use more to relax
