Formula fed babies sleep

How much do your formula fed babies sleep at night? How much sleep are you getting? My 5 week old still wakes every 2/2.5 hours for a feed and sometimes takes 6 oz at once!

My LO is feeding every three hours. She could sleep longer but midwives told us to wake her up every three hours so her blood sugar doesn’t drop

My little boy has started sleeping anywhere from 10-11 till 3-5 x

Yeh I usually get about 5-6 hours the first stint of sleep, then 3-4 the next. I’m surprised the health visitor never said to me about the low blood sugar thing though as he had low blood sugar the day after he was born… odd x

I do expressed breast milk or breastfeeding during the day and just 150ml formula at 10pm, he’s normally asleep by 11pm then wakes up at 3/4 then again at 8/9. He’s 7 weeks old

I’m still getting up every 3 hours for feeds in the night

Usually about 2.5 hours at a time in the night x

You’re all doing great and getting more sleep than me for sure! What are your tips? How do you initially put them down to bed?

@Chloe my LO is small for her gestational age so the midwives were worried if she dropped her sugars, it would have an effect on her health

We feed a lot throughout the day so it’s about 400-500 ml during the day and then about 100-150 at night. She’s 2 weeks and has the same pattern as some people have mentioned here, goes to sleep around 11, wakes up around 4 for a feed, then 7 am until 10

Snap! Mine is 5 weeks too and sounds the same as yours I’m guessing it’s a boy as well

5 weeks wakes every 2.5 hours has 4/5 oz. Sometimes won’t go back down and would take more if offered!

Ugh i’m with you dee and abby!
