C section
Anyone had a c section recently and has gone to get up, felt their wound oozing but nothing showing up on the plaster that’s covering it? Don’t know if I’m overthinking or not or need to contact anyone medical asap?

I haven’t taken off yet as I was told the community midwife will do that around day 5… so don’t really want to touch it
What day are you on now? I'd probably call and see if she can see you earlier and have a look at it in case it's infected
I’m only on day 2 but she would be coming out tomorrow so will get her to check it then. Thanks for your help

I had this exact feeling after my c section when I was pushing myself too hard with walking around and being on my feet too much! If you’re worried call the midwife but if you can’t see anything I’d leave it and allow the midwives to check on day 5!

Maybe a silly question but have you taken the plaster off to check underneath? Mine wasn't recent (in fact 9yrs ago almost) but day 2 I had to take the plaster off for it to be checked by hospital staff and to be cleaned etc
