Post-discharge follow up - Tips needed
Hi everyone,
I gave birth to my little one at 25 weeks just over a year ago. She was 640gr and 27cm and it's incredible how well she has grown now. We were living in Geneva and spent 4 months and a half in the NICU. After discharge we had developmental and pulmonary follow ups on a regular basis, which we should continue. We have now moved to Brighton, UK and I am not sure what process I should follow to get referrals for this. Any tips?

Firstly, if you haven't done so I would register at a local gp near you ( They maybe be able to obtain your records from abroad) , I just moved area and my son was also prem at 24wks and under follow ups etc in our old area ..... we registered and it's taken sometime but we had all our care transferred over here, so my son has physio and speech and language, which the gp makes referrals..... , I hope that helps in some way ! X
