What happens now…
38+5 had a sweep on Thursday. I’ve been loosing my plug since yesterday evening. Bits yesterday and a huge part this afternoon.
Feel like I sound so silly but FTM what happens from here, how long has it been for girls to start any sort of progress after loosing their plug?
I live 45 mins away from my hospital and am weighing up when should I stay at parents who are 5 mins away from the hospital 😅 want to spend as little time as possible there. Partner is ready to pack my stuff and ship me there now he’s terrified I’ll just spontaneously give birth in his car on the way there when it’s time 😅

I lost my plug around 2 days before my waters broke with my daughter. Didn't lose my plug with this one so can't say this time round.. I'd personally wait until contractions started / waters went.. X
I had a sweep Wednesday and started loosing my plug the next morning. Had a full show 24 hours later on Friday morning. Nothing has happened so far although I had my second sweep today and I have dilated another cm and fully effaced since my first sweep. I think it’s really common to lose your plug after a sweep and my experience has been that it’s not done much so far… Wait for contractions or your waters. Especially since you’re a FTM I imagine it wont escalate in a few hours and you’ll have time to get where you need to be xxx

I lost my plug right up until I gave birth, I did ring triage though to see what advice they gave, as i was having crampings too and they suggested I go in to see how dilated I was just so we'd have some sort of rough idea, not sure if your triage would do the same?x
