C Section
Any mom's have a planned c section on Sunday? How can I make it a good experience first c section I had was traumatic. I also got denied skin to skin and baby was fine they didn't have to take her to NICU or anything. I felt so robbed of this experience. I'm really anxious and nervous about a repeat. I'm happy that she will be here but sad I won't feel her kicks them again I'm so done being pregnant.

Weird they would deny skin to skin then. Did they say why? Maybe ask what their procedure is. With my first they ended up having to put me under general anesthesia so I didn't get to do skin to skin immediately but once I woke up I did and nursed him.

Was your first one an emergency c-section? My first was emergency and then I had two planned. The planned ones were so much more relaxed. I got to do skin to skin right away and nurse pretty soon after.
