I had a planned c section 3 years ago. I had no issues with it. No complications post operation, no infections, no pain or itching. The scar is small and barely noticeable. My mum had a c section with my brother 10 years ago and her scar is almost non existent after all this time. I hope yours heals well too xx
6m pp post unplanned emergency c section here and have a nice neat scar which I call my warrior scars as it bravely brought my baby girl into the world. So I love it and am kind to myself. The scar itself is in the bikini line so not so visible and massaging it with oil and creams has helped with the visibility and healing. I had no complications, no infections or itching. Barely visible scar now.
I'm 7 week PP from a planned C-section and it's healed well and I've had no complications so far! Just going to see how it goes as I'm prone to my scars going keloid but hoping it doesn't 😫
I'm 4m pp and my scar looked like it had been there forever a few days after the section. I was so scared to look, so I waited a few days and wow! It was so neat, and healed so quickly. Honestly they did such a good job - my scar is now beginning to fade a bit in places
I had a planned c section - I’m 9 weeks in and scar looks great just a bit red no ledge I used a compression Garment and still do my scar is pretty wonky lol the surgeon must of had a looong day 😂but I’m very happy with it all
I had a c section 4 weeks ago! I haven't had a massively positive aftermath as on my second round of antibiotics but in terms of pain and things I am feeling absolutely fine and been out and about almost everyday! All midwives and drs said my incision is neat and as above I just feel grateful for it for bringing my little one into the world. X
I had an elective c-section in June scar has healed nicely and settled after 8 weeks, just remember to wash regularly but gently and keep it dry and all will be well,
I’m only about 2 weeks post unplanned c-section and so while I know it’s still new I have already decided to love my scar for what it is because it brought my baby to me healthy and happy. I think bad outcomes happen when we forget to love ourselves. Positive thoughts do work, so the advice id give you is to keep up with positive thoughts and remind yourself how strong you are and what the scar represents now and forever!
