C section
Elective c section on Monday due to breech baby. For anyone else who has c section, when did you get told what time it would be (like where in the queue you are)?

I was told when i got my date that I was first due to my medical conditions. I was then told on the morning of my csection that I was first unless there were emergencies.
I was told at 35 weeks that c section would be on the afternoon but then wasn’t told until we arrived at 11am that we were second and would be going down to theatre around 2pm
Thank you, sounds like every hospital is different and dependent on emergencies. I just don’t want to be waiting all day 😫
Got told to come in for 11am didn’t get taken down until 4:15pm. The worst part was the waiting and I had been fasting since 4am
Update from me and my pre op today. Going in at 7:15am and told they like to do all electives in the morning before 1pm 🙏

I was told the night before that it will be in the morning but that changed the next day! Ended up having it in the evening. So just depends on what’s going on on the ward, if there are cases for emergency sections yours will likely be pushed back. All the best xx
