Advice needed!!

Help! I have a 3 year old, 2 year old and an almost 5 week old my first 2 girls were bottle fed and very content settled babies! I am breastfeeding this time, she feeds all day long and isn’t happy/content if she isn’t feeding does not settle much at all, she still has a shallow latch and mainly settles on 1 breast, she has started to be fussy during certain feed times and comes on/off and gets angry her fingers pinch my boobs 🥴 I feel like she’s never getting enough milk, she sleeps pretty well through the night so I can’t complain there I do however give her 4oz of formula around 10pm then will go till 4:30/5:30am. basically I just don’t know wether to quit all together with breast feeding? Advice needed.. I’m not a believer of breast is best but I feel something is stopping me from stopping breast feeding but I think it will be the best option for me and my family ..

Have you tried pumping then you can see what your supply is like? My LO isn't a fan of breastfeeding but will happily take my milk from a bottle and I can see how much she's having

Wondering, Have you checked for tongue tie? For the shallow latch. If all ok, do what you think is best for you and your family 🤍 GLx

I have got an electric pump tried fit only 2 days and managed to get 4oz out I only used them 3 times in a day 30 mins each, they leaked out the bottom a couple of times though and sometimes if it’s not on properly i get nothing and I have so much on my plate atm so I already didn’t bother yesterday 😣 but I need to start again.

Yes there’s no tongue tie or so the midwife said when she was checked over at the beginning x

@Georgia W it’s so hard with 3. I know how you feel! I thought I’d move to formula for my 3rd way faster, but she’s been an easy baby. Had my 2nd been my 3rd baby, I would not have breastfed / pumped, just gone formula the whole way due to his demands. Each baby is different and you’ve got other kids to care for too. Hope you feel ok with whatever you choose and think is best for you and your family xx

Yeah if I have anymore babies I deffo won’t be breast feeding again lol it’s not been easy at all been so painful and draining I would dread feeding time at the start, it has got easier but with her latch still really sore when she first goes on then it’s ok. I deffo think the right thing is formula going forward but for some reason I am just wanting to put her on the boob😣😣
