Pregnant after c-section

Has anyone on here actually fell pregnant too early after a c-section and had the cut re open or had interior bleeding (that’s what they told me might happen)?

How far into pp are you? My baby is 16 weeks and I’m 7 weeks pregnant. My ob told me I had a low chance of anything going wrong and that it happens more than people think.

Following! Because I'm done with them scaring us constantly 🥲

@Arysson over 7 months pp

@Star I know, I just need a real story to scare me enough 🤣 are these doctors lying to me 🤣🤣

@Emily honestly, they put me through hell my whole pregnancy & then I found out they scared me for no reason 😅 telling me I'm high risk & making me be induced (which led to my c section) so I need to know if this is another scare tactic

I’m 9 month pp 13 weeks pregnant. I was told I’d just have extra care and can’t go into natural labour because the contractions can cause my scar to rupture. I also have GD so I will have baby early anyway via C-section

@Tiffany what is gd may I ask?

@Emily gestational diabetes

@Star my induction made me to have an emergency aswell! All went well though. I hope your next pregnancy is better sweet xx

I had 2x c sections 9 months apart (our twins arrived 2 months early), I’m now 4 months pp after the second c section and all is okay but was told exactly the same! Just something to keep an eye on throughout your pregnancy and if you have any worries just get them checked out xx

We got pregnant 3 months after section, 2nd baby is now 3 months old and I’ve had no issues :)

@Star I totally agree

@Emily I feel you should be fine. My obgyn told me that I could even try to have a Vbac and I’m hardly 4 months pp 😅. If you want you could go to an ob that specializes in high risk pregnancies. Hopes for a safe pregnancy and delivery!

@Lucy oooo!! Xx

My cousin had this cut reopen and bleeding with had severe complications needing blood transfusion as well.

@Emily same to you chick. Sucks that we were put into that position

@Sam how long PP were they if you don't mind me asking & did they say it was due to the new pregnancy?

@Star 2.5 yrs pp, she wanted to try a VBAC delivery but against Dr's advice due to her age and previous c section (almost 39yrs old).. didn't go well. Perhaps should've gone for c section 2nd time around too.

@Sam how many pp?

@Emily 2.5 yrs

@Sam oh wow! So was the bleeding from giving birth rather than the pregnancy? Because I was never given a time frame but have seen people saying they were told 18 months between pregnancies

@Star yes from pressure of pushing and her first c section scar was still tender 2.5 yrs on...personally I was told 18months rule too so going to wait it out.

@Sam that's crazy that it opened. Thank you, I think we needed to know this risk is an actual thing (as bad as that sounds)

@Star you're welcome yes it's much needed to know as most people will tell you otherwise...helps make an informed decision hence shared the story.
