Cervixal check

Honestly I don’t mind the cervical checks, maybe it’s just because hubby and I still have sex a lot? 😂 but I know a lot of people find it uncomfortable or even painful so you’re not alone

Went in yesterday & I couldn’t do it either.. i felt so bad I cried

I felt bad too but don’t let it get too you.It happens especially with this being my first it’s uncomfortable and not every woman is the same

I thought it was painful the first time and then just uncomfortable the second time. Go into it mentally prepared is what I did and it wasn't as bad

You can opt out of them if you’d like! Even during labor you don’t have to get them. With my first I did none in clinic and just during labor at the hospital. And this time have had two done in triage when I thought I was in labor 🤦🏼‍♀️ but didn’t do any in clinic.

I cried when they checked mine and didn’t do it again until I was being induced. It’s honestly unnecessary if you aren’t either 38 weeks plus or in labor from what my OB said. I didn’t do a single one with my first and I didnone with my second before being induced because they had to put rods in my cervix to dilate it.

Ok I’m 38 weeks and mine was uncomfortable.

Can you get the epidural before the cervical check

@Kourtney yeah that’s when I had mine checked and it was rough. I would say unless they need I would bother
