Contractions first all the way until 9cm. 10cm mucus plug came away and waters broke seconds before baby flew out 😂😂

With my son I had period like pains for about a week and I woke to my waters gushing and then my contractions came fast and strong. With my daughter my contractions came first and my waters didn't break until I was ready to push x

My water broke at 7cm and the contractions after is where the pain started. I was 9cm by time I got to the hospital

I had nothing then my water broke, mucus plug came out, and contractions started hours later

Contractions both times. First time the midwife broke my waters but I still needed forceps, second time my baby was born in her waters!

Contractions both times followed by waters

I guess the contractions could’ve started while I was asleep? I woke up at 4am covered in fluid but I had no contractions before that point 🤷‍♀️

I loved my birthing this time around. I had my first born when I was 20...this time I knew exactly what I did and didn't want. I knew I wanted to birth at home for the most part and deliver at the hospital. My contractions came in subtle at 6am in the day of. I chilled at home, ate, watched TV and soaked in the tub for most of the day. I headed to the hospital around 3pm when the contractions were close together and harder to withstand. I was admitted at 4:30pm and didn't get my mild dose of epidural (insisted on a light dose instill wanted to feel my legs) at 6pm. By then my contractions were unbearable and I was in a lot of pain. By 8pm I was fully dilated and by 8:30pm the doctor broke my water and I delivered baby in about 4 hard pushes. The room was filled and everyone was so encouraging all I heard was "pushhhhhh" lol... I was brave up until it was time...I started crying thinking I could do it. It was lovely. The nurse and doctors where all super supportive. It was an amazing delivery.

With both my water wasn't even noticed because I was in water. With my first they think it was a slow leak. With my second he was almost en caul

Waters went at 02:30 was 4 in 10 contractions By 4am, 10 in 10 contractions by 8am. Boy did they come thick and fast, it was agony

A few contractions that I thought were Braxton hicks in a 4 hour timeframe, then straight into 1 minute contractions every 3 minutes. Those regular contractions went on for 2 hours before my waters broke, was another 6-7 hours before I was 10cm.

First pregnancy: water broke at 37.6 weeks, immediately followed by contractions. No need for medical interventions and birthed in 12 hrs. Second pregnancy: contractions started at 4am at 39.6 weeks and midwife broke my water for me at 5pm. Birthed her an hour later. 14 hr labor.

Not really 100% sure but my waters were leaking from 36 weeks (didn’t realise it was waters as was such a small amount when I sneezed etc, thought it was pee tbh), went to the hospital at 36+6 days and they said it was waters and I was having contractions that they could see on the monitor but I couldn’t feel them🤷🏽‍♀️ my waters were later broken fully and 3.5hrs later he was born!

Both. My first was contractions first, my second was waters first

Contractions. My waters never broke even at 10cm they had to do this x

Contractions. My waters were broken for me when I was 10cm dilated.

My first was water then contractions. Second was contractions then water.

Erm both 😅 1st baby - waters went and contractions started. Baby was born 3.5hrs later 2nd baby - waters went and contractions started, son born 1hr 20 mins later 3rd baby - contractions started and waters only broke minutes before she was born. Total labour about 5hrs!

First time contractions started strong and fast, got to hospital and was 9cm, waters broke as soon as I got into the labour room and then I had him in two pushes, whole thing took 2hrs 5mins from start of contractions to him being born Second labour again started with really strong and fast contractions, 6cm dilated when I got to the hospital, waters broke then he was out in 3 pushes, whole thing took 1 1/2 hours from start to finish I’m pregnant with my third and I’m having a home birth this time because I genuinely don’t think I’ll make it to hospital and neither do the midwives 😂😂
