Hi!! I did! I went into labor naturally, but wasn’t progressing, had an induction scheduled for my due date which was the next day. Had the balloon for 4 hours and then switched to pitocin. Delivered successfully, 28 hours in labor, active labor for 5 hours, pushed less than 10 min. She was born at 4:24 am on her due date as a successful VBAC!

@Gabrielle thank you so much for replying i really appreciate it! i’m really worrying about the possible risks of scar rupture when using pitocin - did they explain these risks to you? i’m glad you got your successful VBAC 🥰

I researched on my own, I’m 4 years post C-section, so my risk was very low. I did however have to do a visit where they talked about the risks vs benefits and told me my VBAC score. I was really low risk, but I do want to say as long as it’s been 2 or more years, you will be fine!

@Gabrielle i had my cesarian baby in January 2022, so she’s going to be 2 years and 9 months!

Then as long as you aren’t having any other issues, are not high risk etc, you should be very low risk.

@Gabrielle thank you so much for helping put my mind at ease! the only reason i’m high risk is due to GD

You should be fine then!

I did 11 days ago! I had my waters broken at 8pm, the hormone drip 12-6am and then baby was born at 9:02! I had an episiotomy & kiwi due to my blood pressure & babys heart rate, but all was super positive with no complications. My Vbac was exactly 2 years and 2 weeks after my emergency caesarean xx

@Laura ahh congratulations!! so glad you got your VBAC hope you & baby are well! xx

i had my c section in december of 2021 and had my VBAC 8 months ago! went into labor on my own at home at 38 weeks exactly. water broke at home then went into hospital at 5/6cm and had her a few hours later! they did end up using a little pitocin after i got the epidural because it slowed my contractions down. but overall it was an amazing experience. i hope you have a successful one as well! the risk will always be there as your scar will always be there is what i was told.

@chasity thank you so much!! xx
